From Daddy to Daughter

Sent from my Dad on a business trip to Atlanta, Georgia in the late 1990s (1999?), this card has somehow made it through all the moving around, redecorating, room tidying and everything else I’ve done in the past 13 years. Rather sweetly, despite being a slightly awkward “What should I write to my 8 year old?” postcard, it does finish with “looking forward to seeing you again and hopefully reading more of ‘Treasure Island'”, which I do remember being incredibly excited about! So does it really matter that its a slightly obscure picture of a rather unattractive hotel? No.
