The World On My Doorstep

An ever-expanding postcard blog

Typical England…

on February 8, 2012

A cheerful postcard from 2005 when my friend Jo went to Glastonbury. There isn’t a single part of the postcard (picture or message) that doesn’t just scream “ENGLAND”! The rolling green hills, the height of the Tor written in feet on the front and then the message which includes lines such as “The park & ride was blocked off (roadworks)…” and “This is going to sound weird but I liked it up there coz it was cold and windy.” Very English!
