New Mexico – A New State For Me!

on September 23, 2012

This great card comes from Sam-Quito in New Mexico, USA. He tells me it shows a typical Christmas scene for his area. All the buildings put out ‘farolitos’ (the beautiful lights) on Christmas Eve. Traditionally, it would guide people to Church for midnight mass before there was street lighting. What a fantastic cultural tradition. I love it! And he used some great stamps too – even better!
